A New Handbag

A new bag
Last weekend was so much fun. I spoke about creating balance in every day life at the Women’s Living Expo in Springfield, Missouri. Among many wonderful things that happened this past weekend, one was the simple delight of discovering a new handbag. It may sound a little trivial I know- but for women on the go, a great bag is a welcomed accessory. This little bag combines organization, fashion and simplicity, allowing me to feel good while carrying all of my “essentials” around.

Less is more
The lovely representative from Missouri, Julie Maasson, connected with me at the Expo and showed me the bag called “first date”. This little bag costs only $29.00 and it’s compact design fits beautifully with my “less is more” approach to what I need to carry with me.

A mother’s balancing act
Julie and I shared our mutual ethos of doing something you love and still being there to pick up the kids from school. As a mother, it is always a balancing act. Julie has created some financial independence, feels good about the product she is selling, and still has plenty of time to be available for her children.

Enjoy what you do
The owner of Beijo bag, Susan Handely’s tag line is, “success is being able to balance your life and be passionate about what you do”. Handely goes on to say, “ these women are also advancing a commitment to moms everywhere: a portion of the Beijo donation program is committed to organizations and projects which support the health, education and development of mothers and their children.” Now that’s a message I can feel good about.
